Ready to create your custom box design? Follow these simple steps to design and order your box using our PDF templates in Adobe Illustrator.

Step 1: Choose Your Box

Go to www.brandedboxes.co/products and pick a box style from our selection (standard or custom sizes).

Step 2: Download the Template

Click Design with PDF File and then Download Template. You’ll get a zip file—extract it to your computer.

Step 3: Open in Illustrator

Open the template file in Illustrator (File > Open). You’ll see a dieline with different colored lines (check your swatches panel).

Step 4: Add a Design Layer

Add a new layer below the dieline layer. This ensures your design prints correctly.

Step 5: Create Your Design

Design your artwork on the new layer. The white areas show which parts won’t print—use them to guide your layout.

Step 6: Save Your PDF

When you’re done:

  • Embed all images
  • Use at least 10pt fonts and outline them
  • Hide or delete the dieline layer
  • Save as PDF (High Quality Print or Press Quality)
  • Use PDF 1.5 compatibility and select Create Acrobat Layers from Top-Level Layers

Step 7: Upload and Order

Return to www.brandedboxes.co, find your box style and size, then click Upload your file & Order now. Preview your design in 3D and confirm the details. Once happy, add it to your cart and checkout.
